Role guide / Top of the operator hierarchy

Golden Dragon Distributor Accounts

A plain-language guide to the distributor role: what it is, who it is for, which portal it uses, and how it sits above sub-distributors and stores in the Golden Dragon account structure.

What a Golden Dragon distributor account is

A Golden Dragon distributor account is an operator-level account that works above the store level. Players never see it, and store agents generally do not use it. Its purpose is to manage the part of the network that sits beneath it: the sub-distributors and store accounts that ultimately serve players through PlayGD.mobi.

The useful way to think about it is as a position in a hierarchy rather than a product. A player has a player account. A store or agent operates at the counter, using the POS. A distributor works one or two levels further up, through the administrative backend. Each of those positions has its own login destination, and most login problems we hear about come from someone using the right credentials at the wrong address.

The distributor backend

Distributors use https://backend.goldendragoncity.com/. The URL is public, but the address alone gives no access. You need authorized credentials issued through your upstream account, and nothing on this site can create or recover those for you.

Who distributor access is intended for

Distributor access makes sense for operators who intend to support other operators: people building a network of stores or sub-distributors, or established operators who already manage several locations and want to work from the administrative side rather than from a single counter.

  • Operators who will supply and support multiple stores or agents.
  • Operators who plan to appoint sub-distributors beneath them.
  • Existing gameroom operators moving from a single store to a multi-location setup.
  • Resellers who already have relationships with store owners and want a structured account to serve them.

If you run one location and simply need to serve players at your counter, a store / agent account is usually the more honest fit. A distributor account brings responsibility for the accounts beneath it, and that is worth taking on only when you actually have, or intend to have, a network to look after.

Where distributors sit in the account hierarchy

Golden Dragon access is organised in tiers. The exact shape of any individual network depends on how its accounts were set up, but the general relationship looks like this:

General Golden Dragon account hierarchy
TierTypical roleLogin destination
DistributorOperates the upper administrative layer and supports the accounts beneath itbackend.goldendragoncity.com
Sub-distributorOperates beneath a distributor, typically supporting its own group of storesbackend.goldendragoncity.com
Store / agentServes players directly at the store levelpos.goldendragoncity.com/pos/
PlayerPlays gamesplaygd.mobi

Two points matter most. First, distributors and sub-distributors share the same backend address; their differences come from the account they sign in with, not from a different website. Second, stores do not move up into the backend simply by knowing its URL. Store-level work happens in the POS.

Distributor vs. sub-distributor

We deliberately avoid publishing a feature-by-feature permission list, because exact permissions are set by the platform and by the configuration of each account, and we would rather tell you what we can stand behind. What is consistent is the structural relationship:

Distributor vs. store / agent

This is the distinction people confuse most often. A store or agent is the point where a player is actually served. That work happens in the POS at pos.goldendragoncity.com/pos/, a separate interface from the backend. A distributor does not normally serve players directly. A store agent does not normally manage other operators.

If a store owner tells you they cannot sign in to the backend, the first question is whether they should be there at all. In most cases they belong in the POS. Our POS guide covers that side in detail.

Credit management at the distributor level

Golden Dragon operates on credits that move through the hierarchy. A distributor generally holds a balance and supplies credits to the accounts beneath it, which in turn serve players. How transfers are performed, and the exact tools available, depend on the account. We do not publish ratios or rates that have not been supplied to us. The credits guide explains the flow in more depth, and current figures are available on request.

Account creation and administrative functions

Distributor-level accounts generally have administrative responsibility for the accounts beneath them, which can include setting up and maintaining those accounts where the configuration allows it. In practice, distributors use the backend for work such as:

  • Keeping track of the sub-distributor and store accounts in their network.
  • Supplying credits to downstream accounts and watching balances.
  • Reviewing activity across the accounts they are responsible for, where reporting is available to them.
  • Responding to store and sub-distributor requests for help.

We describe these as typical responsibilities rather than a guaranteed feature list. If a specific function matters to your plans, ask before you commit, and we will tell you what we can confirm for an account obtained through Titan.

A realistic distributor workflow

  1. 1

    Start of day

Sign in at the backend, check your own balance, and confirm nothing unusual happened overnight across your network.

  2. 2

    Respond to stores

Handle credit requests from stores or sub-distributors. Agree in advance how requests reach you, so nobody is chasing you through five different chat threads.

  3. 3

    Keep accounts tidy

Review accounts that are inactive or have changed hands. Old accounts with live access are a security problem, not a convenience.

  4. 4

    Restock upstream

When your own balance runs low, contact your supplier before it becomes urgent, not after a store has run dry.

  5. 5

    Close out

Sign out, especially on shared devices, and note anything you need to follow up.

Onboarding as a new distributor

Distributor accounts are not self-service. They are set up through an upstream relationship. If you are obtaining access through Titan Gaming Solutions, onboarding usually runs in this order: a conversation about your plans and the size of your network, an agreement on current terms and pricing, account setup, and then credentials delivered to you directly. Our article on how to become a Golden Dragon distributor walks through each stage and the questions worth asking.

Account security

  • Type the backend address yourself or bookmark it. Do not sign in from links sent in unsolicited messages.
  • Use a unique password for the backend that you do not use anywhere else.
  • Do not share one distributor login between several people. Set up appropriate accounts instead.
  • Sign out on shared or public devices.
  • Remove or disable access for operators who leave your network.

We will never ask for credentials

Titan Gaming Solutions will never ask for your Golden Dragon backend password, POS password, authentication codes, recovery codes or any other platform credential. Anyone asking for them, including someone claiming to be from Titan, should be treated as a risk.
