How to Become a Golden Dragon Distributor
Before you ask anyone for a distributor account, it helps to know what you are signing up to look after. This is the honest version of the path.
Start with the role, not the login
People often arrive at this question by way of a link: someone mentions the Golden Dragon backend, and the next step seems to be getting into it. The backend is the easy part. The real question is whether you want the responsibility that comes with sitting above other operators.
A distributor supports the accounts beneath it. That means stores and, in larger networks, sub-distributors who rely on you for credits and for help. If they cannot reach you, their players wait. That is the job.
Decide whether distributor is the right tier
| Your situation | Usually the better fit |
|---|---|
| One location, serving your own players | Store / agent account |
| A few stores you will support under someone else | Sub-distributor account |
| A network of stores or sub-distributors you will supply | Distributor account |
There is no shame in starting lower. Many operators begin as a store or sub-distributor, learn the rhythms, and move up when they have a network that justifies it.
Understand backend access
Distributors work at backend.goldendragoncity.com. You will receive credentials through your upstream relationship once your account is set up. There is no public sign-up form, and anyone offering backend access in exchange for your existing passwords is not offering you a real account.
Plan your sub-distributor relationships
If you plan to appoint sub-distributors, think about it before you need to. Who will they be? How will they reach you? Who handles a store problem at eleven at night? Distributors who agree these things up front spend far less time untangling them later.
Plan your store relationships
Every store you support needs to know three things from day one: the POS address (pos.goldendragoncity.com/pos/), how to request credits from you, and who to call when something goes wrong. Write it down for them. Do not give stores the backend address as their login.
Budget for credits
A distributor's balance supports the whole network beneath it. Before you start, think about how much you need to hold to keep your stores supplied, and how quickly you can restock. Read how Golden Dragon credits move, then request current pricing. We do not publish figures because they change.
